Christmas Evening is a compilation of jazz, classical, contemporary pop and rhythm & blues. The twelve song journey is the perfect backdrop for decorating the tree, a Christmas party with friends, or just sitting by the fire enjoying the music.
The album highlights two original compositions. “That’s the Part of Christmas” is a tender ballad sung heartwarmingly by Leslie O. Smith. “No Room at the Inn”, a beautiful orchestral arrangement leads into a powerful rendition of “O Holy Night” sung by the infamous Helena Buscema.
Innovative arrangements of your favorite traditional melodies features Mark at the piano with bass and drums. A stirring instrumental arrangement of “Silent Night” also brings the cello, oboe and acoustic guitar to the forefront. We even get to hear Mark have some fun and sing “All I Want for Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth”. Engineering and other treats provided by Michael "the Ikeman" Parnell.
